Rocking Poseiden's Bones

Walking along the beach I often climb onto the blocks of granite piled along the seawall. Many of the blocks are ten feet long and four feet wide by three feet high. They're undoubtedly Poseidon's dominoes and the swell generated, low-toned rumblings and grindings of the bones are testament to the powerful sweep of the sea god's trident.

Today I mounted one of the giant blocks as I navigated the piles. Balanced on another giant by the last play of the sea, the monolith rocked as I traversed its length. Shifting my weight from left to right upset the stone's balance and I commanded tons of granite to rise and fall, hitting the stone beneath, smacking its foundation with a sonorous, rhythmic whoomp. Tomorrow or the next day the sea will unseat the quarried monster and its foundation will be sound, the block will once again be unmovable, but today I moved a giant.
