C—'s Address, Hooding, Recessional

The photograph in the center was shot handheld at a focal length equivalent of 270mm, 1000 ISO, f2.8 and at 1/25 shutter speed! Vibration reduction was enabled, but the results are still surprising. It stands up to full size printing and seen at full size the value of the shot is evident... C—'s expression was priceless; the professor hooding her was having a bit of a problem snagging graduate's caps and gagging them with the hoods and she was a bit nervous.

I've already reserved a roll as unofficial photographer for her slated graduation from H— University (2013), as this was such a wonderful event. (Of course, I'll be addressing her as Dr. C—).
